Only time I spent money on OF was when I found out a chick I went to high school had an account.

Besides a situation like that, yeah, I don’t really understand why dudes would spend money on what is entirely free otherwise
This whole ordeal really should be a permanent black eye for the ND program going forward. It’s all based in selfish greed. ND is only interested in staying independent to keep it’s lucrative NBC deal and favorable schedule making while demanding everyone else just give them what they want.
Bro, screw ND. They’ve coasted into the postseason with bad resumes for years.
Huh? Im enjoying that a playoff committee finally sent a message to Notre Dame to either join a conference or start scheduling real teams (and actually win). Bama’s season surpasses ND’s in multiple statistical categories. Glad the CFP committee finally had the balls to send the message
Nobody has forgotten about the L y’all just took a few hours ago.
Lots of great football games on today and this is what you come here with?
Props to you for being completely loaded and posting nonsense at 7am on a Wednesday
You guys are definitely gonna hire BK then and continue the BK>LK domination???

LSU fans know exactly what a bad QB looks like, and Mateer…

This guy was at least half right:

Venables has never “won anything” either. And if you’re referring to NC’s, a bunch of active HC’s have never “won anything”

They lost to Auburn. That should be enough

There was a solid 36 hours after that game where there was some serious consideration in approaching the idea that maybe Jackson Arnold was a good quarterback.

Plan on it!

I'll just leak your personal phone number instead

With all the strange this dude hits I wouldn’t be surprised if him changing his number is similar to me changing my HVAC filters. Just set a reminder on my calendar and do it one weekend a month.

That’s not actually true (FAU) but I love this pivot everyone is making to convince themselves Kiffin is actually a bad coach. Some of my favorite justifications I’ve seen:

-No nAtIonAl ChAmPiOnsHipS!!!1
-his W/L record from almost 20 years ago when he was at Oakland and UT is mid
-he never made the playoffs with Ole Miss (bending reality but whatever, I’ll allow it since everyone is so butt hurt)
I don’t blame Ole Miss for not letting him stay and coach them while also preparing a rival roster for next year. LSU and Ole Miss will likely be competing for a lot of the same recruits and transfers and I would expect LSU to do the same were it reversed. There’s also risking Kiffin pulling Ole Miss players while he’s there but let’s be honest, that’s happening whether Ole Miss let him coach or not.

Ultimately it doesn’t matter, there is no scenario where Kiffin leaves and people don’t hate him. Just let everyone throw their tantrum.
It's obvious they are hypocrites.

The whole board would love Kiffin if he held a press conference yesterday and did the “I’M NOT LEAVING” speech and screwed over a rival’s coaching search.
If he had come out yesterday and done the Wolf of Wall Street “I’m not leaving!” and screwed over a rival’s coaching search, the whole internet would love him for it.

Spare me the moral grandstanding.
Ultimately there is no scenario that Kiffin leaves and doesn’t get painted as the bad guy. Even if he left, never asked to coach the team, addressed the players and made an honorable statement about how he loved his time at Ole Miss, the internet is still marching with pitchforks and keyboards.

Ole Miss saying “no” makes total sense, they have to get ready for next year just like LSU does.

As far as how to fix it they basically have to fix the calendar. You can’t make a coaching hiring freeze time period in November/December because then basically any team that is going to fire their HC is absolutely screwed come ESD and January transfer portal.

“Hey, come play for us, the guy that has been recruiting you is out, and we have no idea who is gonna replace him until after you sign with us”
quote:

This is going to be much more common with this shitty title system

And with all of the litigation the NCAA has lost the last 5 years, it ain’t getting fixed anytime soon.
