Guess you don't watch much soccer then. I'm not a big fan of the sport but have seen some u-tube videos of those players looking like they got hit by a Mac truck over the slightest touch by an opposing player. Pretty funny stuff to watch.

He's as good as Rodgers at changing the narrative after a disappointing loss.

Yeah, that tnt segment was about 18 months ago. Zion has played like 29 games since that segment.

Of course he should’ve played more. Just simply answering the question.

Oh shite!! LOL

Damned youtube. If its one my feed it must be new. LOL

Yeah 29 games is horrendous though. Has he lost the 80 or so pounds it looked like he needed in that video.

Widely known that this type of injury leads to a player dropping a ball on an uncontested layup attempt. It all makes sense now.

Do you really believe that was the case without that pu$$y constantly using it as an excuse through three playoff series?!?!

I’m surprised he didn’t show up the elimination game presser in a walking boot.

To be fair Zion is “Mr. evaluated in 2 weeks” not “Mr. 2 weeks”.

He was about 320 in that video. I do think he ultimately got down to around 280-285 this season, before he pulled his hammy.

240-250 would probably be the ideal weight for someone like him. That’s about what he weighed when he went viral in HS. That’s still big enough to overpower 98% of the NBA as well.

Saw that thread earlier and figured it would have already come out before now so I was feeling bad for the guy that posted it.

Turns out he was spot on
I mean he missed a significant number of games near the end the season for that injury, and it was pretty obvious that it was bothering him in the playoffs, and a number of pundits pointed it out. So it was essentially taking something that was pretty obvious, then pretending that it was some prescient observation of some excuse he was going to make up after the fact.
