You can't go wrong with Fox or Jackson. I think Ball needs scorers around him to be successful. As a Lakers fan I want them to draft Fox. I think he's a better compliment to Russell. A lineup with Russell, Fox, Ingram and Randle would be interesting.

De'Aaron Fox >>>> lonzo ball

He proved it throughout this past season and in their matchups

Can the Lakers somehow sneak Jerry West into their workouts for all the players they are considering with the #2 pick and let Jerry tell the Lakers which one to draft?

Like when was in charge of the Grizzlies draft for 5/6 seasons & stepped down after a frustrating 20-62 claiming he's "not a youngster anymore".

He's 10 years older(80) & no one has forgot he picked Drew Gooden over Amare Stoudamire (others) & wanted Moncrief over Magic.

Lakers rebuilt just fine( near 3 peat) without West . Pass.

And your reponse is to tell me to "put my name in as a GM"? Really that's the best you can do, ad homonim the guy who doesn't agree with you?

what the frick are you talking about?

im laughing at you for you randomly putting in that youre a laker fan because you have said on here multiple times that you hate the lakers and want nothing good to happen to them

yes, i think you are wildly off base and i agree with absolutely nothing you are saying, but i have no idea why youre attributing something i never said to me

Don't really know what that has to do with how they'll fare in the NBA.

and its also not really true

lonzo was objectively better throughout the season and its not like ball was awful when he took UCLA to rupp and walked out with a win

i can't remember who it was, but an nba analyst said something to the effect that Fox's monster game against ucla in the tournament was because of bad PnR team defense by ucla, and not simply a matter of fox dominating ball.

WCA, I hope that Patton throws you into a tizzy during the mock draft. You are due for a great melt.

I don't think we are even doing a mock draft since we couldn't fill up all the slots

I think it's ridiculous that the go to reason for Fox over Ball is the head to head matchup. Reminds me of the people that used to say Deron Williams was better than Chris Paul because DW usually outplayed him in the early days.

I like Fox but think he's become a bit overrated because of his defense. There's only a handful of difference making defensive PG's. Fox will be good at that end but he's neither strong or long so I don't see him as an all defense type.

Would be great if LAL drafts Lonzo at number 2, and ESPN cuts to Lavar Ball live just as the Lakers then trade Ball to Philly or Sacramento for a used washing machine and half a pack of smokes.

hes a slasher who relies on his speed and athleticism to get points. you can see where that leads to a productive NBA career, but you arent passing on lonzo for that

That's a pick that destroys a GM if it doesn't work out.

Yeah, people are overanalyzing stuff. You pick the guy that's been projected to be the #2 pick for over a year now.
