Lakers considering playing up potential trade offers by suggesting that teams behind them can move up for Lonzo Ball.

Well sure they may consider him just like we are going to consider others. But if we don't draft lonzo than it won't be fox

I want this to happen just to see what the reaction would be.

I think he's a top 2 player

I hope Ball goes somewhere cold and miserable.

IMO, Fox has a higher ceiling and you don't have to deal with Lavar Ball. Actually a pretty easy choice to me.

It's obvious we drafting Lonzo but I wouldn't be opposed to Fox. I think he compliments better with DLo, but you cannot pass up the potential and already innate passing ability of Lonzo

I wish it was Sacramento for ball.. Lol

As annoying as Lavar is, I just can't see the Lakers passing on Lonzo.

Would be great for Ball to get stuck in a small market like Sacramento or Minnesota. Time to trade up for your future PG T'wolves!
To bad for Lonzo that his dad is what he is. He may cost him a chance to be a Laker.

That would still be passing on Ball. Which would make for great TV

I would ship pick 2, Deng, Clarkson, and Mozgov to Indiana for George, and pick 18.
Works well for both teams. Lakers get cap space now and the Pacers get two young talents in Clarkson and pick 2 to pair with the youth on their roster.
Lakers can make a run at Durant (if he goes back into free agency, Heyward, or Griffin.
Still would have enough left over to sign Chris Paul to run the show.
A lineup of
PG: Paul
SG: Russell
SF: George
PF: Griffin
C: Randle
This is affordable with the above trade.

Why wouldn't you just wait a year for PG to be a free agent? Have your cake and eat it to.
Not getting the all NBA vote guarenteed that PG is testing FA, and id say it's close to a guarantee that he leaves. And he has a known affinity for the lakers

By acting now the Lakers can use the opportunity to unload 35 mil. Per year in contracts. If Indiana says no then you say that is fine we will see him next year.
Indiana gets two great young players
LA gets George and cap space to get another superstar to match with Russell, Ingram, and Randle.
