Plus anything Lavar says comes into existence...

Which means we're going to the playoffs next year and Dlo and Ingram will be averaging 20 a game

His defense and lack of elite athleticism is what scares me. I think offensively, his floor is at worst Shaun Livingston and his ceiling is tremendously high.

You mean Shaun Livingston before his knee exploded? That guy was going to be an All-star. People forget that happened when he was 20.

Mark it down

At the end of the day, he's a 6'6 guard who rebounds with above average athleticism with the body to grow into a valuable defensive player. You don't pass on that for fox. Now, a three level scorer like Tatum? That's another conversation

I didn't mean that as a slight. Livingston has had a solid career.

He was not some super athletic freak even before the knee injuries iirc.

also remember the lakers kinda got burned with the not elite athlete point guard at the 2nd pick but such a high BBIQ and great feel with Dlo he sucks arse and can't guard anyone. now you got lonzo who is taller, with a funkier shot, plays even worse defense and is probably even less athletic. though that's a wash probably. i can legit see why they would pass it's like getting a chance to rewrite history.

i mean, you kinda need to have elite athletism to be an elite point guard in todays NBA.

I know you aint

I just feel like this is going to be a thing going forward, articles and what not bringing up fox, and I just think it needs to be nipped in the bud. The Lakers may not choose lonzo, but it won't be for fox

the lakers won't chose lonzo and it most def will be for box because logically ho the frick else are they gonna take? Jackson and Tatum play the same position as ingram. Dennis smith isnt good enoughy to go 2nd neither is monk. Unless you love the dude from Arizona that much to go 2nd overall it's fox

i have no agenda. i am a laker fan who is sic k and fricking tired of allowing the media to pick it's players who all turn out to suck dick. we allowed the bounce pass heard round the world to alter our decision making and we picked D'lo over others who were clearly better. we allowed everyne telling us that hey this kid looks just like KD when all he does is litearlly look like him, doesn't shoot asd well, run as well, move as well, dribble as well, he is just tall with long arms lol, and it's looking bad.

I mean, I Love fox but even if i didn't like him he's pretty bust proof. he's at worst, the best defensive guard to come in the league since chris paul. so his floor is a great defensive minded point guard with lighting quickness.

Like Steph Curry or Chris Paul? If we're calling Harden a PG he's not athletically elite either.

Geez man, Russell's 21 and Ingram's 19. Players don't hit their prime until around 26-27. Have some patience.

IMO, Fox has a higher ceiling and you don't have to deal with Lavar Ball. Actually a pretty easy choice to me.

The End. This is the answer. Fox, as he continues his development, will be an incredible defender, and absolute force offensively with his length and ability to get to the rim. Once that jump-shot becomes wet he will be a 20 plus a night guy dropping around 8 assists.

Although drafting Ball would not be a bad choice either.

you say have patience yet we are sitting here debating on who to draft as russell's replacement at Point lol not IF we should draft his replacement at point. you can't get mad at me because i think his replacement shoiuld be someone you don't think it should be.

Russell sucks and will never bemore than a volume scorer. I haven't giving up on Ingram i think he will be fine if he can add weight. I just don't think his body type will allow for it. I mean he makes KD look like the big hurt

We're not drafting someone to replace Dlo. It's to move him over to the position that most think he should be in which is the 2

i do. we allowed the hype from that one pass and the thought of him playing point guard entice us to pick him.

i also think JO is much better than he has shown so far i would not judge him until he gets out of that org.
