There's definitely a segment of the fan base that just can't help themselves from being obnoxious.
Don't think that's unique to the Cajun fans but they definitely exist.

Yeah. 9-11. 1420 fired him and John Moon a few months ago. Think Foote has only been with 103.7 for a couple of weeks.
He's not terrible, it's just more that 103.7 is slowly morphing into 1420. In the mornings at least. 103.7 has never really had anyone decent in 9-11 slot anyways so it's fine. But if they ever bring Moon on board, I'm done.

Their venom for LSU goes well beyond sports and it's borderline psychotic. I screenshotted some of their comments about LSU fans, you'd be taken aback by the sheer penis envy-driven hatred. It is one section of ULL people, but they are very vocal and probably turn off people who would otherwise support them

No, 103.7 has never been any good from 6 to 4. When it was Schultz, Alan Michael, Jim Rome, Jordy Holtberg, and Ben Love, Ben was the only one that was any good. And he's really good and puts on a good show. Jim Rome is entertaining at times, but his shite gets old quick.
But Schultz, Alan, and Jordy suck. Schultz was obnoxious as frick, Alan Michael might have been even more obnoxious, and Jordy just sounds like an old frick who someone felt sorry for and handed him a microphone. That "closing time" sign off with "We only get one May 29, 2020, make the most of it. Stay thirst my friends" shite has to be the absolute lamest thing I've ever heard on the radio.

I sense a pattern: the ULL bball coach Bob Marlin talked a ton of shite before the NIT game against LSU in 2018 about how Wade was afraid to schedule the game. At the end of the game, Wade called a timeout with the lead so that Marlin could "enjoy it;" since then, Marlin and ULL fans have acted like big meanie Wade just picked on them for no reason

I didn’t mind it, that was a good game. Fact that you still talk about it says something. Wish we played LSU in basketball every now and then; I wouldn’t mind if a game never even took place in Lafayette.

I agree. My memory is aided by Jay Walker holding a vendetta against Wade to this day. He plays some song "Willie, Willie," and talks snidely about Wade getting busted lately. After HBO's "The Game" aired, like half of my ULL friends posted about how they were treated unfairly in the 1970s and that LSU is getting of easy (forget about the Dale Brown probation). Yall resort to tu quoque when confronted with how obnoxious your diehards are instead of manning up and I'm not alone here in being lukewarm in supporting UL bc of their behvaior
