C-USA Football late 90's/early 00s was pretty solid. You had Southern Miss with Bower, Louisville, Cincinnati, East Carolina, TCU and Memphis with DeAngelo Williams

Louisiana Ragin Cajuns athletic budget was $32M with 49% coming from the school.

La Tech’s athletic budget was $23M with 48% coming from the school.

Also there are zero athletic fees allowed by the state, unless it is approved by the student body through a vote. ULM and UNO are the only two schools who have put a dedicated athletic fee up for vote and both failed to pass the fee.

You are making up numbers. I gave hard numbers from a Lafayette news source that don’t align with anything you just posted.

USA Today

Those numbers came from USA Today. Nothing made up about it. Also La Tech ran at a deficit as well, not as large of a deficit as UL, but a deficit none the less. Glass house I guess.

You still haven’t posted a link. I’m pretty sure the University of Louisiana at Lafayette would have lashed out or issued a response to The Advertiser if the numbers weren’t true.

You are literally making shite up because I made you look like a fool.

We may both have glass houses but you are the only ones throwing rocks. I did not attack Lafayette or your athletic budget. You attacked Techs and I simply threw out statistics to show why that was laughable.

Louisiana Tech has the lowest budget in Conference USA but is the only G5 school to ever win six consecutive bowl games and they did it in six consecutive years. Those six wins also include two against Power Five programs. So despite a shitty budget we are still achieving incredible success for our level.

The point still stands, you think La Techs numbers got better? Quit fooling yourself. Y’all AD sound a lot like Ole Nick Saban while coaching the Dolphins.

Certain ULL people have a tendency to troll and when anyone pushes back they play the aggrieved victim role. Redheaded stepchild behavior.

Uncomfortable truth:

Most of America sees the American as proper "good" Conference USA. CUSA isn't actually CUSA outside of like 3ish schools.

So that is not for 2019 and is actually for the 2016 football season.

You really should stop digging this hole, because you look like a complete moron.

Who trolled? It's usually the other way around where someone brings us up.

LaTurds athletic budget is roughly 20% smaller than the Cajuns.

Don't play dumb. I live here and it's always ULL people (not a large group of you tbf) who bitch and moan about how bad LSU fans are and dick ride Alabama, then you act like big, mean LSU is victimizing you when someone finally responds (most LSU people take the high road, let the kids act obnoxious) LINK

LaTech's AD is coming off super unprofessional. Just as unprofessional as our former SID writing a letter to ESPN about our name bullshite.

The guy's pedigree is McNeese -> LaTech, so he took two shots of anti-Cajun hard seltzer. I guess you don't require a consummate professional in the AD position if your job is just cashing checks from the Davison family.

Marshall, Southern Miss, and La Tech?! Maybe UAB. All four are competitive in football. Three of the four have good basketball programs that would have more recent tourney appearances if CUSA still cared about basketball. Two have good baseball programs with recent national and regional success.

If the B12 goes and gets UH and Cincy, or even Cincy and UCF, I would think three of these four would slide right into the American.

The SBC vs CUSA argument recently is about the bottom. CUSA had 6 teams in the top half of FBS last year to SBC's 2, but CUSA had 6 in the bottom 20 to SBC's 2. Take the top 4 in the SBC and replace the bottom 4 in CUSA and it would be just below the MWC in competitiveness. The bottom of CUSA in Football and MBB just serve no purpose in terms of on the field/court performance. Same could be said for the MAC and SBC. There are 15-20 teams in FBS that need to be moved down, or should have never moved up.

LSU makes the trifecta if he can get there. (Won't happen)
