90% of Cajun fans want Marlin fires. He is the definition of good enough.

CUSA is hemorrhaging money. A merger with the Belt would increase attendance and save tons on travel. Regardless of how much better La Tech thinks it is than ULL or ULM, there’s no doubt people in Louisiana would be more likely to go to those games than La Tech vs UTEP.

Same can be said for UAB with Troy and South Alabama.

Four divisions setup
West: UTEP, UTSA, Rice, North Texas, Texas State, Arkansas State
Central: La Tech, ULM, ULL, Southern Miss, UAB, South Alabama
East: Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Troy, Coastal Carolina, FAU, FIU
North: MTSU, Western Kentucky, Marshall, App State, Charlotte, Old Dominion

Play 5 division opponents plus three other conference games before Thanksgiving weekend. Thanksgiving weekend matches opponents based on division standings, so #1 East vs #1 North and #1 West vs #1 Central on Black Friday- the winners of those games play on championship week.

This is actually a good idea.

Cheers Mate

Consistently overhyped and only 2 good seasons in a decade.

Cajuns has good football in the 1980s and early 90s during the Delhomme/Stokley era.

Delhomme/Stokely were mid/late 90s. USL football was also good in the 70's with Roy Henry at QB. Still couldn't seem to beat Tech to my recollection.

I'd honestly like to see that again. That felt like a rivalry back then, a lot of close games as I remember it. It was a little like LSU/Alabama with Charlie Mac though,
USL just couldn't seem to pull off the win.

I like ULL, but yall need to stop denying how obnoxious your diehards fans are. It turns off people in the area who might support you otherwise and it's definitely not just LSU fans who notice LINK . Personally I know enough good ULL fans to where it won't change my mind

ULL fans open themselves up to that kind of joking with their reactions, basically asking for it. McNeese baseball posted something in memoriam for Coach Robichaux, and of course one of them showed up

While that was in poor taste, the school legit doesn’t recognize ULL as an official abbreviation.

You will never see ULL on any official merchandise.

Not remotely similar, few LSU fans outside of Lafayette gaf; but that's another thing yall claim when you get called on it. You'll always find FB pages with ULL fans posting Bama stuff. LSU fans mostly take the high road in my experience. This was gleefully picked up by local station, no one cared that that it was anon message board poster or that other Clemson fans in the thread said he's full of shite; ULL fans came out the woodwork to talk about how awful we are. Same shite over and over.

I’m going to assume that you are a LaTech fan since you defend them so adamantly. The biggest difference amongst the LaTech, ULM and Louisiana fan bases are that the core group of LaTech and ULM base is LSU fans. The core base of UL’s fans are UL only.

Lmao! I'm sure you believe that about McNeese as well, huh?

Dude y’all gave away season tickets to LSU at a McNeese fund raiser. Plus had Will Wade speak at a basketball fund raiser too. So yeah McNeese is like that.

Lmao! So they catered to the people with money. Big deal..

The hardcore McNeese people aren't LSU fans. Just shows how much you really know about the fanbase.

Y’all didn’t give away McNeese tickets. It was LSU tickets. But to be fair, I’m pretty sure that guy is now at LaTech as AD.

Again, what the frick does that have to with the fanbase?

Quit acting like ULL has the market cornered on dedicated fans.

They don’t, ULL attendance has taken a massive hit, even with good seasons. What I don’t understand is that most of their fan base/alum resides within 10 miles of their stadium.

It's funny, you don't see much LSU *or* ULL stuff around Laffy. Most people seem apathetic about both, but will support state teams if they're on TV, I watched the CFP title game at a bar and everyone was cheering hard for LSU. Seems more like a Saints town if anything. I've heard that parking regulations have hurt the tailgating/pregame scene at UL FB games
