Yea, it's not illegal per se. But legality isn't the issue here. It's image and judgement. Ja's image is already in the trash, and he is showing to have absolutely zero critical thinking skills. Ja already has shown that he wants to be a gangster, he wants to show people how hard he is. He has threatened to shoot someone before. His entourage pointed a gun at someone. Yet after all of that, he is still waving around his gun. It's idiotic.
It's not the gun that's the issue necessarily, but the context of it all. let's say for example that if his teammate Desmond Bane(using another black guy so to avoid the race angle) is an avid hunter. In the offseason, he spends his time hunting and shooting. If he took a video showing off his new firearm he just purchased, nobody would bat an eye. Context matters.

It’s always someone else fault when they get in trouble for doing something dumb. The people in here defending JM shows the reason why. They have no accountability and their culture is shite.

Nobody is trying to take his rights away. We're laughing at him for being an idiot. I would call anyone an idiot who is flashing their piece around in public. That isn't responsible firearm ownership. Especially when the person being discussed has already had a public firearms incident not long ago.
