He should probably spend his time talking to young black males like himself about how much they are killing each other rather than acting like one of them.

It’s the culture though and it’s sad people choose to live like that.

That dude doesn’t watch the NBA or care about Ja Morant. But he suddenly has an opinion when a black man is holding a gun. Shocker

Probably not.

Again, it’s about professional representation of 3 multi billion dollar corporations. Not the gun.

It’s also the fact he’s doing this shite after avoiding what he likely should’ve gotten handed to him the first time. If I avoid getting fired for failing a drug test I’m not gonna post a video to Facebook of me smoking crack three months later. That just shows a complete lack of awareness and complete lack of caring.

It's really hard to equate Morant's stupidity with most other stupid athletes. Strawberry was hooked on drugs; thats an addiction problem.
there is a very good chance Ja has a serious alcohol/pill/weed problem.

I can see how Nike and Powerade could/should would cut ties after this, but I am curious about how the NBA/Grizzlies can respond. The first video, he was clearly breaking the law & league policies even though there wasn't enough proof to criminally charge him. In this video, he's not breaking any laws laws and is on private property. Can the NBA suspend him for the season/dock him 40MM for this? Seems like it would be a legal battle.

I’d imagine there are some vague clauses about image or morality (in a sense) that they could use.

Why would they? It's stupid but it's not like he's running around the mall pulling a gun on people. Him holding a gun on Instagram isn't really threatening anybody. The team will probably force him to actually go to some sort of rehab this time since it's the offseason.

At this point it's way too much of a pattern. That's the argument I'd use and it's why he was suspended last time.

Is this certain? I can't really tell anything around him from the video.

Pattern of what, that he has a gun. That's not necessarily illegal. If he's not pulling it on someone then it's not any more dangerous than all the politicians in America that make campaign ads centered around them flashing their guns.

Grizzles are gonna have to cut him before too long. Guy is just not worth the PR and will never be on the court anyway because he will be serving a suspension for being a dumbass off the court.

Just 2 months ago, he got suspended 8 games for "conduct detrimental to the league".

Morant is just flipping the bird at the league at this point.

He is basically asking the league and his sponsors to come back with a FAFO response.

I wonder why the change lol

Anyone taking their presumably loaded fire arm out to play around and flash everyone around them deserves to be mocked.
