He looked good on that last drive. I still need to see more from him to make a determination.

Well the worst is Minnesota acquiring Herschel Walker.

At least Wilson is a fricking quarterback...that affects every play.

Herschel was traded for:

Minnesota's 1st and 2nd round and 6th round pick in 1990.

Minnesota's 1st and 2nd round pick in 1991.

Minnesota's 1st round and 2nd and 3rd round pick in 1992.

They better figure it out quick. Our upcoming stretch looks like it could be pretty brutal: Raiders, Colts, Chargers, Jets, Jags and Titans. Not a lot of time to frick around anymore. I’m more worried about Hackett than I am Russ.

It hasn't been good but it's still too early to judge.

Team stat. I'm specifically talking about a player.

2-1 is a team stat but lets blame the QB and only the QB for all the offensive issues.

Brilliant!

Can we wait longer than 3 games?

Especially when the team is 2-1.

Cost of business when dealing for an elite Qb.

Saying Fant and “2 guys who aren’t of note” shows you know little about Fant and SHELBY HARRIS. Fant was in the process of losing his job. Shelby Harris is actually a legit NFL starter (when healthy).

He's not mobile anymore

They don’t want him to be, which imo is a mistake but they’re also trying to protect their asset. He’s getting older and shouldn’t be trying to extend plays outside the pocket when he has a very good weapons to throw to and a solid OL. I get the scheme. I doubt Wilson isn’t capable. He just has to adjust a little.

It can be argued he's not in the top half of QBs right now, and he has more major decline ahead of him

Yeah and it can be argued Geno Smith is a franchise QB. We love 3 game sample sizes!

When they announced the Russell deal before he played a down for the Broncos, just before the season started, I was puzzled. Glad the Broncos will be out of the race for awhile. Chargers are gonna be out biggest problem in the AFC West.

Sure.

What's the cost of business for an average QB?

I won't give specific numbers, but in terms of fantasy numbers, his typical month of scoring will be 7/6/41/6/37. He has always been this way. One of his next two games will probably be off-the-charts incredible.

His stats would’ve looked a lot better last night if Bama Boy Jeudy didn’t drop a 77 yard TD. My parlay would’ve looked a lot better too lol.

This.

Russ has looked bad, but it’s pretty clear that Hackett’s offense doesn’t fit Wilson’s style of play, no matter how big of a Hackett apologist Collinsworth is. They both better make some adjustments quickly.

A question that can't be answered by any sane, rational person after a 3 game sample size

Too early to say at this point

The defense is playing well enough to carry them through some offensive troubles

But without some improvement you could say that it's a terrible deal

For consistency sake, do you think Brady is only an average QB and looks like he's also fallen off of a cliff?

Brady hasn't looked any better than Wilson.
