Is the Russell Wilson acquisition going to go down as one of the worst of all time?

Draft picks: 2, 1sts, 2, 2nds, and a 5th
Players: Fant and 2 guys who aren't of note

Contract: 5/245 extension through 2028 (when he's 40 )

Wilson looks like he's already fallen off the cliff. He's not mobile anymore and he wants to be an Air Raid QB when he's not good at that. It can be argued he's not in the top half of QBs right now, and he has more major decline ahead of him.

Welp. They are 2-1. The D is carrying the Broncos for now.

Let's revisit this when they are 6-11 and Russ has a whole season to dissect.

Russ and the offense hasn’t gelled at all, yet they are still 2-1. I just think even with a shite head coach Wilson will figure it out and the broncos have a chance to be very good

Making up for a top-10 WOAT move in trading 2, 1sts for Jamal Adams (and then giving him a huge deal)

All Russ needs to do is be enough of a threat to open the game up for Javonte Williams and to a lesser extent Melvin Gordon. He isn't even capable of that right now, and the coaching staff doesn't seem like they realize that either.

Russ looks awful, don't get me wrong. But maybe we overrated some of these Broncos pass catchers a bit as well.

The broncos have had a worse offense then the saints this year. That is impressively bad

Possibly, but the Seahawks will botch the draft picks so probably not.

Y’all act like madden and real life are the same damn thing. You can’t just plug and play big names into your roster and expect it to pay dividends immediately

With the limited time they had during the off-season to work together, I’m not surprised at all by this. Look at some of the other offenses in the league. There are a lot of people struggling

Has he looked bad? Yea, he really has. Can it get worse? Absolutely.

But calling this ‘the worst acquisition of all time, four games into the season is a bit premature and stupid IMO

Lamar is probably laughing his arse off watching Russ play. Ravens offered him a contract with comparable guaranteed money to Russ because they saw the two QBs as being on the same level.

Romo seems to think Matt Ryan's issues in Indy are largely communication. A QB having to learn all this new terminology is way different than a WR, RB, or OL changing teams and learning it since they only really need to know a piece of the puzzle where the QB has to know the entire thing.

I know with Russ the coaching staff isn't doing him any favors either.

That said, some of the stuff is Russ being bad. Guys wide open in the end zone that he just doesn't see, him trying to play hero ball, throwing more ducks. He looked like this at the end of last year too when he finally came back off his injury. He may still be recovering, or he might just be cooked from it.

Don't forget, Lawrence is now a great QB, how will he lose another game? Next stop, the HOF.

Josh Allen puts up stats but can't even beat Miami. It's over for that pretender.

Justin Herbert is a basketcase and will never win a game again.

Patrick Mahomes is a product of Andy Reid's system. Even the lowly Colts have figured him out.

It's finally over for Brady, couldn't beat Rogers at HOME.

Please feel free to mention any more prisoner of the moment takes I left out.

He’s a great QB, but it’s just a bad Fit.

They will get it worked out, they’re only 2-1.
