Obviously it's not viable in almost every instance of sketchy ref behavior, but because this instance was literally the clock hitting 0 on the last play of the game, could it be determined the call was incorrect and the score reverted?

It should. Time is not subjective.

Too much dirty money changing hands by third parties already. It’s done.

A similar thing happened to Arkansas when Bo Nix was still at Auburn and the result wasn't changed.

It should. It's one additional play that should not have taken place.

It’s possible the polls treat it like a loss and move Michigan down regardless

But if the NCAA removed the win, some Michigan fan would sue and some Michigan judge would agree with them. But it wouldn’t get to that point because the Big 10 would never allow the NCAA to do that

I don’t think they ever reversed OK St/CMU, so it makes me think they won’t reverse this one.

What should happen, regardless of Michigan and the Big Ten, is for the NCAA, the MAC, Western Michigan, the College Football Playoff Committee and all the polls to count it officially as a win for Western Michigan.

On the flip side, it should be entered officially as a loss in the NCAA record books. The MAC and Western Michigan should not even recognize it as a win by Michigan obviously. And the College Football Playoff Committee and the polls should treat it like a Michigan loss. They can still list Michigan as technically "winning" the game, but still treat it as a loss.

Michigan and the Big Ten can do whatever they want, including treating it as a win. Doesn't mean the rest of us have to.

What the hell are you talking about. The refs got that one right and the game ended correctly on the field.

If Michigan isn’t jumped by several teams after laying that egg, it just shows how retarded the AP poll really is.
