This guy has been consistently running over other players like they are D2 players since he's been in the league.

Well, yeah, easily.

Not Mark Ingram. Not Kenyan Drake. Not TJ Yeldon. Not Eddie Lacy. Not Josh Jacobs. Not Najee Harris. Not Brian Robinson. Not Damien Harris.

He's always been underestimated.

Even though he was a five star player coming out of high school, he was listed as an Athlete by several recruiting services. There were a number of people wondering if he could be a RB in college due to his size. There were many Alabama fans who thought Saban would move him to linebacker even though he was told he could come in and compete at running back.

Only possible answer that isn't Henry and Alexander only holds up if Henry can't pass him for longevity which st this rate I'd find unlikely

Shaun Alexander’s 01-05 peak was pretty fricking incredible

Henry was on all time pace last year before injury but 2018-now is also pretty fricking fantastic

Henry's 5 year stretch reminds me of Adrian Peterson stretch.

0 passing game and still can't stop him

The only RB to be picked before him in that draft was Zeke Elliot who went #4 to the Cowboys.

then Henry didn't go until pick #45 in the 2nd round.

just looking at the list of players that went ahead of him and its fascinating. It always is though in hindsight.

I loved watching Shaun Alexander run the ball. In college and in pros - he was very talented

It’s a devalued position and he doesn’t catch passes. he also didn’t do much until the end of his 3rd year. He’s been great since but much more in line with a 2nd round or later pick.

Shaun Alexander ran through the NFL like a hot knife through butter in 2005.
