Prolly his point. Luka was the only person on court hustling I’m sure, bunch of Zion defense going on

I’m sure the Mavs would have been better off yesterday as a team if Luka only took 10 shots and distributed more to Dante Exum, Derrick Jones, and Grant Williams.

I’m guessing they can’t double Luka?

I'm sure he got extra attention, hence the assists

No player gets purely "doubled" in modern basketball, nor did they in the 80s/90s or whatever era people view as their personal halcyon days.

Glad to say that I don’t even know who Donovan Mitchell is.

He was driving through or shooting over double teams all night. I'd highly recommend checking out the highlights, it was one of the greatest performances of all time.

Which is a win if lesser players shoot and miss more

it's weird that all the people that don't watch NBA agree that the defenses don't try.

If it's that easy of a fix, they should probably go try out for a team and try to play defense.

just being an above average NBA defender will net you a $6 million dollar a year contract, even if you can't score.

Making threes at the 2nd highest clip in history =/= chucking threes.

Think of how many they’re missing to make them at that rate

The next revolution in basketball will be replacing missed 3s with made 2s

selfishness is up too. let's be honest. many players could have scored 70 pts if they wanted to be selfish. it's not a coincidence Wilt and Kobe were two of the most self consumed athletes of all time.

Isn't the point to win? Kobe, Dame, Donovan, Luka, and Embiid all won their games. Would it be better if these guys scored less points so that their team would have lost?

Is he talking about the past when he played or 40 years ago?

Another example of you talking out of your arse just making ignorant and false statements. Shaq was doubled 90% of the time in his career up until his last 3/4 seasons. All the dominant post players of that era were doubled regularly including non front court players who could score from the post.

It’s because they are so advanced on the offensive side. It has nothing to do with the defense.

Players quit and reduce defensive effort when it becomes obvious what direction the game officials are taking the game.

Explain how this is possible with illegal defense.

I can't wait to hear you try to do this.

It would be hard explaining it to someone who doesn’t even understand the rules past or present.

Shaw being doubled like 3 times in the Finals.

Thankfully there is video to disprove dumbasses like Madking

How could Shaq be doubled before he had the ball with illegal defense?

Explain it or back track, which I predict you'll do, and claim rotational help defense is "purely doubling" as I wrote
