The Panthers are my "local" team but not my team. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and lived there again after college for a handfull of years. I was basically born into Steeler fandom.

Grew up mostly in Alabama, with a little stint in Mississippi. Really too far from the Saints or Falcons, Nashville didn't have a team yet, and dad was a Raiders fan. When he was in high school, Kenny Stabler went from Alabama to the Raiders, so he started following them. So I've been a lifelong long-suffering Raiders fan since birth.

Thats when I dropped the saints. Not because of the team doing that. But because fans didnt care. Why would I want to be associated with scum people like that. Still sell the family saints tickets to opposing fans every chance I get. Suck it nola

A while ago I dated a girl from the Buffalo area and love how much like the Packers they are...the cities, fanbases, their commitments. So I always pull for them as well.
Also, you should absolutely check out the game in Green Bay. I'm biased but it's the best, friendliest, and most fun scene in the NFL and second place isn't close.
