I did two weeks earlier this year.
5 nights Tokyo with a day trip to Mount Fuji. It was mostly cloudy so couldn’t see much.
4 nights in Kyoto. Very busy but still great.
2 nights in Hiroshima with a side trip to Miyajima.
3 nights in Osaka with a day trip to Nara.
I used the Shinkansen to get around the country. And the metro/bus/taxi to get around each city.
Probably the most stress free trip I have ever had. No need to plan ahead or book trains. Just jump on when you are ready. Prices remain the same.
Nearly all the food I had was great and quite cheap. Alcohol was reasonably cheap too. The people were polite and friendly and nearly everywhere was clean. Osaka wasn’t spotless on some places but that is nitpicking.
I managed to get to two baseball games in Tokyo and Hiroshima. The ticket prices were good value.
I want to return and see places like Kanazawa and Fukuoka. Maybe next year.

Final round tee off times will be earlier if England reach the World Cup final.

It makes the defeat to Belgium even more disappointing. If we played with the intensity we did against Paraguay we are maybe the only team who could beat France.

One of England, Norway, Egypt, Colombia or Switzerland will be in the final.

That was delightful
Played all your matches at home. Bribed FIFA and you were still more embarrassed than Canada

I’m sure if something similar happened to Doku you would be saying that.

If I was Belgium I would refuse to play the match. Show up FIFA for its corruption on the biggest stage.

Belgium should immediately appeal this decision. FIFA is not hiding its corruption. You can’t just change the rules when you feel like it.
