Agreed OP. I'm very grateful/proud that we ended up in the SEC and I think it's the best place for us to be in today's era, but the old Big 8 was our rightful place in a perfect world.

I've always thought college football should feel like a supercharged version of high school football instead of a minor league NFL. It has very much felt like a minor league NFL for the last 15 years or so.
