The reason I have been hating on the Rockets is because they were a pretender, which they have successfully proven this series. Everything we've been saying about them is dead on. The fact that they are from Houston is simply extra content.
They played 82 games and were the second best team in the western conference. It's impossible to pretend for that long. They caught a streaking clippers team and played poorly, but that doesn't prove that they are "normally bad"...the regular season showed what they are. This isn't college football where teams can achieve more than they should due to a short season with disparate competition.

Much like Texas A&M in football.. they're irrelevant but their fans talk as much trash as any.. So when they get their asses handed to them it's nice to watch and witness their awful fan base melt.
Who is melting? It ain't happening, at least not from my end. How do you end up in the final 4 teams in the west and still be considered irrelevant?

Now what is interesting is the fact that you have posted something considered to be very popular among the haters on this board, yet you are known for being painfully stupid and are truly one of the worst posters on this board. Will pepole upvote you or will they say "You know, I hate Houston with a passion but goldenbadger08 is pretty damn stupid....let me sit this one out while he scrubs it up"
It's an interesting dilemma.

Seriously the idea that Harden has become a good defender is one of the funnier storylines of this season. He has been better, but he is still a liability. They've been able to hide him better

You realize you've been following me around for at least month stemming from a time I said the Seahawks had the best fans in the NFL? Thanks for proving my points.

And things like your little bit about the "trophy-less" Falcons are exactly what your ilk has been professing to hate about Rockets fans, but I wouldn't expect you to understand that irony.
OK dude. Enjoy watching the Rockets get closed out in 5 and another disappointing year for the Texans/Falcons (whatever bandwagon you're hopping on this year, I can't keep all your teams straight).

Yup. People make huge claims after playoff series.
"The Spurs are done."
"The Clippers are too soft to go anywhere."
"LeBron will never win a ring."
All these things have been said after one series.

"I agree with you it works"
how?
"They would have won by 50"

It's like how goldenbadger has transformed into David Duke on the OT Lounge and lists his location has "Dixie." I bet he also has some fresh New Balances, a frat swoop, and super short shorts.

Those 82 games were regular season games.
That really doesn't mean much in the postseason. The Rockets play no defense. They are not a team built to win a title.
They were a good team. They weren't some outstanding team.

yea luckily over the course of the season you don't play a top 2 or 3 team every night. Like I said in the last 30 seasons there hasn't been an NBA team with fewer losing seasons heck bro it's possible that there's been no team in ANY of the 3 major sports with less losing seasons than HOU in the last 30.

You thinking I'm a Falcons fan is hilarious.

Kenny has zero idea what beating a dead horse is
Posted on 5/10/15 at 10:40 pm to SwaggerCopter
Did Kenny just butcher the means of the phrase "to beat a dead horse" then say "know the analogy, Chuck"....?

top 5 D just abt all year. This CLippers team make a lot of teams defense look bad. FYI, The Clippers are below their regular season offensive efficiency in this series v HOU so think how good they were in the reg season. Heck SAS was a top 3 defense all year and the clippers made them look like crap.
Tip your hat, give credit where due.

The Rockets are an absolute joke. I've been saying for a week now, Clips in 6. There was never any chance the Rockets would win this series. No chance whatsoever.

Clippers are playing absolutely lights out.
the disconcerting part is that they are doing it with barely any opposition.
