Assuming he has the performance data recorder they will have a lot of data and video leading up to the accident

This is the problem with being impaired...you usually make bad decisions.

Isn’t insurance immediately voided if the insured causes great bodily injury or death if the person is convicted of DWI? I would assume the insurance will wait to see how this all plays out in court.

I doubt you would be saying this, if the victim was your family member. Ruggs killed somebody last night.

If I was Japanese I'd be pissed that the US nuked us. Not quite sure what being incredibly biased has to do with anything.

If convicted he will likely do 3-5 years, and be sued Civilly for wrongful death to the tune of whatever money he has.

He's being charged with a felony. At the very least he was above the legal limit.

I imagine they have his blood tests already and knew his levels of alcohol (or other potentially intoxicating drugs) prior to the arrest.

Most in this this thread have convicted Ruggs already. We do not know anything about his alleged intoxication other than he "exhibited signs of impairment" at the scene of a severe collision.

Stop with the kneejerk reactions already.

This is no different than when people freak out when police kill someone and all they know about the incident is what they garnered from a short video clip.

Ehhhh, this one seems pretty obvious

So you’re here to proclaim you have never in your entire life driven without an oz of alcohol in your system?

Because if you have, by your own definition, you’re a shite human too.

Maybe. We don't know that yet. That is why I cautioned people to wait until the facts come out before drawing conclusions.

But frick all that, right?

Somebody is dead because of Henry Ruggs and some of you imbeciles are in “wait to see mode” he’s being charged with a felony. A man is dead because of Ruggs. If you got in your car tonight drunk and killed somebody, hate to tell ya buddy but I wouldn’t be sticking up for you and I would hope nobody else would. “But let’s wait to see what happens”

Let's wait and see I have him in my fantasy team. Don't want to waive him just yet

Well, I’ve also never killed anybody so there’s that. That’s just a minor thing though, right? He’s a shite human cause he killed somebody. White knighting for a person who just killed somebody last night isn’t the best look.

In LA they will deny coverage if they believe you were intoxicated or otherwise acting illegally. I imagine any excess/personal policies will also have similar language.

What facts are you waiting on

Someone is dead, and the fact the cops are already charging him means his blood test has come back
