It does. Nobody wants to watch a notre dame team that already lost to two playoff teams and barely beat BC in this

Why would the group of 5 even lace them up if the are never gonna get in?

Bet Notre Dame would've easily beat this quota Tulane team.

They could have their own championship

For the glory of playing the same game that a team like Notre Dame plays.

But they don’t currently.

Why would they play if they had no chance to get in?

Yes. Yes, we do.

Notre Dame at Ole Miss or Oregon is a much better matchup than what we got.

These are supposed to be the sport’s marquee matchups. Instead, we get week 2 11 am kickoff SEC network games.

I would let the G5 coaches vote, and they can decide if they would rather have their own bracket, or get in by making the top 12/16 straight up like Boise did last year or Cincinnati back in 2021.

Let’s be honest. They don’t

If anything, A&M only scoring 3 points against a meh Miami only underscores the playoff should've stayed at 4, regardless of a Tulane or JMU.

Miami’s defense has been pretty stout all year, especially against the run.

Yeah, Tulane has at least won conference championships. Tulane also beat a ‘name’ in a big bowl game. If Notre Dame wants to join the AAC I’m sure they will give Notre Dame a token spot.

A&M's QB has the IQ of a Somali Uber driver. We saw it vs Texas as well. tOSU should handle the Canes.

Awful rules and turning out exactly as expected. No group of 5 team is ever going to win a playoff game against a P4 playoff team

Remember all those close semi final games when it was just 4 teams? No one does either - the vast majority were blowouts then too. Get over it.

No wonder espn farmed these games out to tnt. TNT got ripped off

That decision to have tnt take games was made months ago

Bama beat Michigan State like they stole a soup in prison.

so innocent

They had their chances, just failed to convert. Threw a pick and had a 4th down drop in scoring range. Four drives stalled in ole Miss territory. They’ve moved the ball pretty well, actually dominating time of possession and will run for over a hundred.

Tulane was down 14-0 to start the 2023 cotton bowl too

Were they ever down 34-3 in that game?

Anyone who disagrees is an idiot. I’d much rather watch ole miss vs Notre dame and Oregon vs Vandy than this garbage

Nope. But Michigan State lost to ALABAMA 38-0 as the 3 seed. What is your point?
