I assume you mean the one in Dallas a few years ago. The one that should've broken you was Dez' catch then no catch in the playoff game in Green Bay a few years before that. I'm in no way a Cowboys fan, but that was sketchy at best.

It's still a crap shoot as to what a catch is.

The Rams no call made me truly care less than half as much about the saints. After that I realized it’s completely stupid to get wrapped up in a team.

Well to be fair basketball as a sport in general and the NBA specifically is gay.

And that’s playing second fiddle to the SAINTS. Pray for New Orleans.

That one hurt, but it wasnt self-inflicted. The game two years ago was just demoralizing. I just decided to care as much about them as they seemed to care about the game until proven otherwise

Longtime Carolina Panthers fan here. I still watch every game but my enthusiasm level is a fraction of what it was during the Cam/Kuechly years.

Hilarious, my friend. Bravo.

Bane's monologue perfectly describes the life of a Saints fan.

I used to be very dialed in to the Saints and would watch every game. After the NFC Championship no call game, something clicked in me where I just don't care like that anymore

This is me. I've also decided that the entire Saints/Pels organization is a clown show and that was only masked by Brees/Payton. No sense in getting too invested until there are fundamental changes.

The current NYYs under George’s lil’bitch son, who is a MAJOR catalyst for the next lockout, is about to break me …. I pray for him to have a life altering accident so that new ownership can take hold

Bitch, I’m a long time Saints fan.

Yep.

Some guys I know once asked me if I knew how they felt, as they were big Steelers fans who just watched them get the shite kicked out of them by the Dolphins.

I said “Yeah, I’m a Saints fan.”

1/9/12 got pretty close, but it didn't break me - very close, but not quite

Lakers broke the Pelicans fanbase. I'm not seeing enough yes responses here.

No cap. I wish Hal had died instead of Hank. Hank had a little bit of George in him and actually cared about winning.

To be fair to Gayle, she has also been shitty at running the franchise she cares about too.
