MLB: I've only been to 3 pro baseball games in my life, and Pudge played in all 3 of them (over a span of over 15 years, no less). Sadly he'd probably be the best I saw, unless Strasburg turns out to just be unreal
NBA: Shaq once
NFL: Probably Deuce. I've only been to a handful of NFL games, and none since 2005
NHL: Kovulchuk (I've only been to 2 NHL games)
This has basically shown that I never go to pro sporting events

Kinda what I was thinking when I made my list.
Everyone I listed I saw play when I was in junior high (1994). I still go to Astros games from time to time when I go down to Houston to visit my parents, but NFL games are to expensive and I just don't like basketball enough to pay for it.

I forgot I saw Griffey. Saw him hit a HR in one of the final games in the Kingdome. He's my guy, then Cal next. Also saw Sosa and McGwire (and have probably seen a few other big names I'm forgetting), but they're not in the same league as those two.

I saw him play a couple times in HS. Once was in the summer in a summer league against my HS.

I envy CK. I had the chance to see him in HS. Championships were in Cbus and my dad and I could have went, but at 10 years old, watching high school basketball between two teams I didn't care about featuring a guy who I'd never heard of and had a funny first name wasn't very appealing to me.
