He retired because he didn't want to deal with NIL. IF he returns it will be a school or team that doesn't have NIL or at least doesn't have to deal with other teams out bidding him.

I'm thinking he may give the NFL another shot.
I'm not saying we aren't spending more than anyone else. I'm not saying we aren't spending a "record" amount.

I will say Kirk Bohls is an assclown who pulled that $35-40 million number out of his arse. He does this shite every summer where he tries to stir shite up with 1/4 truths to get people to post his articles.
Texas : Willie Nelson, Beyonce, Selena, Roy Orbison, Don Henley, Kenny Rogers, Gary Clark Jr., Pantera, Tanya Tucker, Norah Jones, The Mars Volta, Janis Joplin, ZZ Top, George Jones, The Chicks, Erykah Badu, Asleep at the Wheel, The Reverend Horton Heat, Kris Kristofferson, Guy Clark, Gene Autry, Stevie Ray Vaughan, George Strait, Buddy Holly, Kelly Clarkson, Lyle Lovett, Sly Stone, Barry White, Meatloaf, Toadies, Pat Green, Charley Pride, Bob Wills, Paul Wall, Megan Thee Stallion, Scarface, Slim Thug, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Travis Scott, Bun B, Big Moe, DJ Screw
I guess Rice, not at the same level, but it's where my older sister and her husband both graduated. She used to send me Rice shirts and hats when I was in middle school.
Straight cash? Nah, never will. But I did buy some Bijan Dijon cause I thought it was funny and didn't mind spending a little more $ to support a player.

If they did more things like that I'd be happy to, but I'm still paying off my student loans why would I give them more money.
FOR ME, BK can never be the most unlikable as long as Dabo is still around. I despise that man. Would watch with glee if he were to fall. I very much desire to watch his nose get pushed in.
I wouldn't move here, Austin was amazing like 25 years ago (Edit make that 35-40 years ago, easy to forget 1990 isn't 25 years ago), it's not that anymore. Houston is ugly as sin, but the job market is good. Dallas is full of young kids driving around in base model BMW's huffing each other's farts and thinking they run the world. All of that on top of the crazy high property taxes. I owe $14,413 property tax this year, on a house appraised at $700,000. I bought the house 5 years ago for $450k
Can never and I mean EVER pull for the Bills. They are the team that stole my childhood from me. January 3, 1993 I was 7 years old and LOVED the Houston Oilers. Screw the Bills forever and always.

I hope whichever NFC East teams makes it wins it. I don't really have a preference either one would piss of Cowboys fans and that's good with me.

Said it before the aggy game but nothing is going to shake me from my feeling that Texas may go winless in the conference this year. The offense doesn't do any one thing above average. They may win 1 or 2 but there aren't any games I'd bet on them to win.
I'm more what I'd consider Xennial but to me it starts with the fact that the NBA started pushing stars. That sound good in theory and it was when stars stayed with their teams. I never saw Magic or Bird in their prime but did follow Jordan's Bulls, Isiah Thomas's Pistons, Hakeem's Rockets, Drexler's Blazers, etc

Now those stars jump teams every few years, teams don't stick with their players. Does it make for more parity? I guess maybe, but it's less fun to follow.

don't care, we didn't join the SEC to make new fans. We're here for the $$ and the $$ only. We'll make you guys money and you'll make us money and that's the end of the exchange.

What happened? Minute Maid didn’t renew their naming rights?

From what I read the naming rights ran out, they did put in a similar bid but Daikin paid more. Daikin is the worlds largest air conditioner manufacturer so maybe it can be the Ice Box now instead of the Juice Box.

Franklin is the most unlikable coach in college football. A douche supreme.

Not as long as Dabo still has a job.
I need to see a full game of Stockton. He scored once on Texas when they were caught off-guard and didn't know much about him. He looked very pedestrian after that. Does that mean he's bad? No, but now that there's tape on him and teams know what to expect can he elevate? I don't know, but I wouldn't want to be finding out in a playoff game.

What have those signing day wins counted for? Did ya get a trophy?
Nah man, I don't think I will.
Y'all love to worry about the maybe 10 trans women in sports and claim it ruins the integrity. But don't see the issue with 17-18 year olds KIDS having to play against 29 year old MEN.
Not me, I've never thought he was great. He's a game manager, which is great when you have talent around them, but he's not a game changer.
