Irony is that the kid was a serious talent and if he would have committed to the program and followed Ferentz guidance he'd probably be in the NFL today. Ferentz has a proven track record of developing players for the NFL. But I guess it's the players that do that all on their own...not.

The only "bad" thing, for this current climate, is the rob a store comment.. Everything else seems like he's TRYING to make it sound bad and he fails.

I'm actually not surprised by this at all now that I've thought about what's really going on. They were making these ridiculous policies on the high school coaches to appease players feelings back when I was playing. It's not surprising that it has trickled up into college.

I figured he was a nobody but he had almost 3k career rushing yards. I don't really get what went so terribly in his college career. There's not even any juicy accusations in the article. I bet a lot of career backups read this and think dude is a giant crybaby.

once had a coach say "if you were my son, I'd beat you with a 2x4." I turned to his son and said "when you murder him in his sleep, I'll understand." Miserable fricker committed suicide a few years later.
