First off , I wasn’t trying to watch espn. My dog was on the bed with me and he stepped on the remote and happened to hit the numbers 1,4, and 0 all in order separately. Immediately after my dogs paw switched the channel to espn , both of my Hands got cramps to where I couldn’t use them so I tried to change the channel with my teeth but I just had them pulled for my new dental implants I get tomorrow.

So I had to watch it and Stephen a smith actually stood up for the nfl and blamed kaep for not showing up to his own workout when over 25 teams were there waiting. He also said kaeps done , which we all already knew.

They brought it up because kaeps tweeting again about how he’s working out and still ready to play

Btw, he hasn’t played in 6 years now

If he really wants to play. He should lower his pride and play in the XFL to show he still has what it takes to be an NFL qb.

Finally…a plausible reason for someone watching ESPN.

He said the NFL is slavery.

Why would he want to be a slave again?

I tried to give people something to laugh about , I could do better with more time to think. lol

Anyway , I really don’t watch first take usually and now I remember why. I’ve always liked mike Greenberg and golic together. I wish that was still around

Stephen A will often times preach the path of personal responsibility. I think underneath his persona that’s probably his real personality, he’s just figured out a way to get seriously paid from his TV persona.

IIRC, before he blew up as Skip Bayless Vol 2, he was borderline Republican in some of his stances on personal responsibility and what not. In 2015 he told black people to vote Republican b/c the DEMs don't do shite for black people b/c the DEMs know they have the black vote on lock.

Stephen A took this position when it all started… seems like a lot of active and former players don’t appreciate the way Kap went about things …

Totally spot on.

In my professional life, I've engaged directly with him a handful of times over the past five years on what at a high level essentially amounts to philanthropy matters. He's intelligent, reserved and respectful. He also believes strongly in personal responsibility.

He's just been very deliberate about developing a public persona that allows him to make multi-millions annually by screaming and carrying so as to draw viewers and clicks. It's a business for him - and it's working for him.

I don't watch/care for his TV shows but I have enjoyed meeting and engaging with him when the cameras are off.

The dude hasn't played in the NFL for like 6 years and is mid 30s

Let it go he's never playing again and could have easily signed another contract somewhere if he had wanted to

I don’t have any input on Kaep but maybe you should get one of those voice controlled smart speakers

I had to watch that 15 times to see the receiver at the bottom. Then another 5 to see the receiver at the top.
