Harvard

Depends. Could be the perfect diversity hire. Anyone have the stats on crazy-arse unintelligible shirtless Cajuns with a National Championship trophy they have on their rolls?

It’s evident in this thread on how many of y’all do not keep up with college football outside of LSU.

Ngl, I thought this at first was in regard to Northwestern State in Natchitoches, which I thought would have been a perfect fit.

He would be returning to his coaching roots if NWLA.

He played there with Bobby Hebert and got his coaching start as a graduate assistant there before becoming a journeyman football coach at various universities and professional teams only staying for a few years at each location before getting fired or let go because of a head coaching change.

He was the Dr. Sam Beckett of football leaping from team to team eventually leaping back home at LSU for a few seasons.

According to a source, Orgeron “would have interest” in Northwestern’s opening.
CEO must think Northwestern is a MILF?

I just assumed they were referring to NSU and thought to myself he might do pretty good there. Good ole Bebe is aiming higher than that.

When he was a Miami assistant he came to the NSU-ULM (then NLU) game on a bye week. He saw my buddy in line at the concession stand wearing an NLU sweater and wanted to fight him.

Those old Gulf States Conference rivalries were the best. Back in the seventies when USL played McNeese in Lake Charles, many visiting fans ate at Piccadilly on Ryan before the game.

One USL fan going down the line hollered to the manager “You have any specials today for us Bulldog fans?” The manager hollered back, “Yep, double price on everything!”

When he came to LSU he had a binder and a whole head full of thoughts on what went wrong at Ole Miss. Some believed him. I give him credit for winning us a title. He helped assemble the avengers that year which became our team.

But.

How do you interview and say you learned from mistakes. Then write a book about it. Then repeat those mistakes? How could someone else give you the keys to a program again after that fall?
