I hope so and I also hope they factor in school budgets and endowments for NIL allotment per school. Would make it much more realistic.

It’s going to be a terrible game. Anyone who expects depth or nuance is going to be disappointed.

I assume EA is giddy they have real licensing now b/c NUT (or whatever it will be called) is their real moneymaker and all they care about with pretty much every game. They couldn't do this with RB #17

I believe they even said themselves they are using madden as the base, but building it out considerably as its own thing. Whatever they do with this rendition will be the foundation that the games for the rest of the series end up being since its a yearly release, so they have to really do a good job here.
I will be interested if they keep the option mechanics from madden, because if so the Triple Option will be unstoppable.

It's already unstoppable. I haven't played the recent Madden games, but the flexbone offense is boderline invincible in NCAA 14. Between the base triple option and midline option its easy to beat up on teams without throwing a pass.

Yeah I would do dynasty modes where I would not pass all season while running the flexbone
Good players can stop it pretty easily though. You just take away the fullback with a DL shift inside and set the edge with a LB and user either a safety or the MLB if you're in a 4-3. Even easier to do if you run 3-4 but the fullback can still get a few yards sometimes.

I liked NCAA Baseball. It needed more real parks though. I did enjoy building Foley Field for UGA though.

Does anyone remember when NCAA Football 13 did a poll to see which features would be in that game? The top requests were:
1. Real Grass
2. Dreadlocks
So they implemented those in the game and everyone was like "OMG, the GRASS is SO REAL!" but when you're in your 3rd year in dynasty mode and every single person(including white guys) were rocking dreads and the game was seriously broken, people were complaining "THIS ISN'T WHAT WE ASKED FOR!"

That's where knowing how the formations can give you leverage helps, especially Twins and the end over with a TE. People who stay in the base set and only switch to either trips to pass or bring in TEs for short yardage are doing it wrong.

This. I played both, but NCAA was much better. When that title got canned, that basically killed my gaming. Very much looking forward to getting it back! Last NCAA game didn't have a playoff, obviously. And, hell, the little things will be cool, too. Kyle Field hadn't been renovated yet when they ended the game, so it'll be a whole new look for my primary team

I still play ncaa 09 on the ps2 and have a Florida dynasty about 25 seasons deep.

lol this is spot on. I used to frequent the operationsports forums back in the day because they had the folks assembling the roster files for download. The shite they would request in their wishlist threads were basically a bunch of bullshite like you mentioned....don't forget the flags blowing with the wind.
My favorite cosmetic things that were added in the last few years of the game were the team entrances (the ramblin wreck, all of the animals, etc) and the ability to purchase new uniforms (which I recognize is a shitty cash grab but that was around the time that schools were starting to go nuts with the alternates and one-off uniforms and I wanted them all)
