Why are the shoulders so wide? Also such small hands compared to the body. That looks ridiculous.

They seemed to have made this change for the most recent madden. I think they want to make it more arcade style to appeal to kids so they all look like WWE figurines now. It’s all about selling the micro transaction My team shite

I felt the madden from the previous couple years actually did really well in duplicating player mechanics and seeming more realistic too and they scraped it.

Gameplay and player design are the only updates they even try to make these days. Every year they decide to either make the running game impossible to use or impossible to stop and can never find the right balance

I used to create myself as a prospect in 09 and simulate to follow his career and import into Madden.

I always ended up finding myself recruiting and editing the rosters more than actually playing the games. Didn’t really care for how they switched the recruiting to a numbers game in 14 compared to the previous ones.

I did this on one of the years. Can’t remember which year, could have been 09. I was a RB, went to USC and won a couple of Heismans. I actually played the games and didn’t simulate. Once I imported into Madden suddenly my white character turned into a black guy with dreads.

pretty much same thing happened with my guy. Also. Was 99 ovr receiver with 99 speed multiple heisman trophies, multiple 2k yards receiving and ends up a 4th rd pick 72 ovr on madden..

Holt also would not say whether FCS schools and HBCUs will be included other than to say the game will be "an always evolving experience."

That's a no.

The soundtrack was great. The is still the best game in the series IMO. The actual gameplay was smooth.

For the dude who brought up NFL 2K5 earlier. Yes, that game was awesome. They brought in actual NFL players to use for the senors too. Still the best sim-style football game. Also, a big thing people forget... that game was only $19.95!!!

Then EA/Madden bought them out.

Recruiting sucked in the final game. Ignoring all the additions that IMO made it more complicated than it needed to be, there was a massively annoying delay when changing menus. I would have probably eventually been fine w/the new system but those menus made wading through all the crap a huge pain in the arse.

As long as they bring back the recruiting feature, I'll be happy.

Not sure how they wouldn't. I got to where it's the only thing I liked to do.

I have 06 and 07. A college baseball video game was awesome. I don’t remember which game was better gameplay though.

I always thought it sucked how they came out with college baseball games right when LSU had their shittiest teams of the previous 20 years.

Who wouldn't want to be in the game though?

My wife's cousin was a starter on the OL for ULL and during his senior season. they rated him a 66. Wasn't too thrilled about that one
