Maybe because they didn't get the same opportunities as the white QB's 40-50 years ago. Just a thought.

There have been black starting QBs since the early 70s. Try harder.

So we can’t call Pat Mahomes white? He has to be black. Serious question, why isn’t he a white quarterback?

He would only be considered white, if he was a police officer and shot a thug.

What about college football?

Well quite frankly, we wouldn't be at this point if the racist white owners would have given the talented black QB's a fair shot 40 years ago. Maybe, just maybe this would have occurred decades ago and this subject would be a big nothing burger.

Do you honestly believe that owners have actively kept black quarterbacks from succeeding because they’re racist old white men? (These are the same owners who’s rosters are all 70% black by the way.)

Yes. The owners looking for any competitive edge possible directly linked to their profit is going to play somebody that makes this less likely. You progressives are fricking morons

Almost got it last year with Burrow and Garoppolo. Stafford saved us from that mess.

Imagine how happy Doug would be if there were no white players at all.

Mahomes is just as much white as he is black. I think we should claim him and see how upset they get

No, I’m pointing out that what Doug Williams said is no less stupid or racist.

Yep.. black people actively ridicule the mixed until they do something they want to try and claim as their own. Just a hilarious mindset

I honestly didn’t even think about that until it was pointed out on espn this morning. Absolutely disgusting that gets pointed out, who in the frick cares? I congratulate the players for their accomplishments, not their skin color.

I'm not saying it's worse, at all, but it can be difficult for mixed kids.

I'll never forget when I was in 11th or 12th grade, this big dude comes in, real cool dude and he's just bawling his eyes out. Turns out, people were fricking with him because he was mixed. This was in high school in BR.

I'm not saying it's the same experience, but I imagine it can be difficult as a young kid. As humans, we tend to stick with people like us, for the most part, although that's rightly becoming unraveled as we progress as a society. That said, if you're mixed, who do you fit in with at that age?

With the way people are calling Black first over White or any other race. Why not just say half Black and half White or any other race? So, people must choose side? How was the male and female combination being settle?
