This. Before kids it was my life. Football season is still my favorite part of the year and I watch as much as I can, but when my team loses, I still have to put on my dad hat and go coach their team.

Same level, but mostly for football. I’m pretty diehard with LSU football, and college football in general. I’m the kinda person that can watch the spring game several times and take notes and find value in it. I can turn on any random college football game on Saturday morning and be entertained. I love bowl season and watching all the bowl games I can that most people find boring and waste of time.

Less. Sports in general is not evolving for the better.

I appreciate it more. We spend time as a family watching LSU football every weekend in the fall. We cook, drink and really look forward to it.
We travel with the whole family to one game a year, this year I am taking 8 to the Florida game from AZ.

I’m a diehard LSU Fan. Absolutely love being in Alex Box and Tiger Stadium. I will continue to enjoy the heck out of it, but I’m not as caught up in it as I was 10 years ago.

May certainly be the season of life I’m in, but curious what the overall tone of the board is.

My interest in college football as waned a little bit, not for any one particular reason either. I just have a different perspective. I love the spectacle of it, game nights, the bands, the student sections, etc. but it's just pure entertainment for me now.

It didn't happen consciously, like I wasn't mad or boycotting or anything but my interest in college basketball plummeted. Started watching less and less over time until now when I realized I hardly watch basketball at all, pro or college. Weird because there was a point in my life, like age 13-25 or so, where I played regularly and loved it.

One big sign for me that my love for college sports was fading is that I stopped following things like recruiting nearly as closely. I used to read message boards and everything but now I know who the top QB prospect is and that's about it.

I still love it but I was obsessed between like 10-25

Now I'm in my 30's with kids and a company.

My lows aren't low and my highs aren't as high. I still follow it religiously but I don't follow recruiting nearly as much and it doesn't effect me the same way anymore.

I now enjoy high school fb and baseb. more as most players don’t move on and are playing for the fun of it. High school women’s basktb is becoming more interesting also.
Pretty much lost if for pro sports, except for watching Joe B. That’s still fun.

Much less. While not as bad as the pros (which I no longer watch), still feel politics & wokeness is destroying it. It's becomes a business, more than a game or allegiance to a school. Yes, I am a boomer, but been a fanatic for many, many decades, however things are not the same anymore. I now see what my Dad started seeing before he died.

Football = it’s a tv event that I plan my Saturday around

Baseball = I’ll tune in even on my phone and watch casually with no sound even as my wife and I are watching something else on the tv. Typically, there’s nothing worth watching on the tv, and in those instances, Im watching baseball on the tv (unless I just didn’t realize there was a game on).

Basketball = if I’m channel surfing and stumble across a game, I might come back and settle on that if there’s nothing else on.

Everything else = Even IF I stumble across it on the TV, I’m most likely going to decide that it’s a good time to do a chore or maybe catch up on other stuff.

This....Combined with transfer portal, NIL, and one and done in basketball has made it less for me.

Less. Football has become all about the individual and far more similar to the pro game. It was better when players had loyalty to their state and it wasn't so national. Basketball sucks with the refs, the bonus, and the 1 and done but that's not much different than 10 years ago. Baseball has largely remained free from the corporatization of football and basketball so its still good in my book

Much less. I went from having stadium club tickets for the Les Miles years to not going to a game in three years.

I still watch all of LSU's games, but I have started to enjoy CFB as a whole more. There are entertaining games in other conferences that are worth my time too.

For baseball, I've always been an MLB guy, so no change there. For basketball, I watch primarily ACC games.

The expanded playoffs will be the last piece (after transfers and NIL) that will make college football's regular season less appealing. I'm moving on to other things.

It varies.

Do I watch every game like I use to? No.

Does a big win still feel just as great? For sure (i.e. LSU/Bama 2022)

It changes as do your priorities in life. You get older and they are still 18-23.

More. We went through an horrific stretch of coaches during many of those years. You do that and you appreciate a competitive team.

Basketball and baseball have been so fun of late.
