For saying he still has stuff to prove as a football coach? My god man.
No

For saying he is a scared pussy who always was going to quit when his sons left and ignored obvious obvious signs he might legit be battling health issues

Selfishly, I hope he isn’t stepping down because I want GT to go to Boulder and whip their asses with Prime on the sideline.

Not selfishly, I hope Coach gets better and that his issues aren’t too serious. Whatever decisions he makes I hope are for his best health.

His 13-12 record screams mediocrity

After taking over a 1-11 team? Seams pretty good. Saban was 12-11 his first two years at Michigan State. BK was 10-12 his first two seasons at Central Michigan.

Admitting ignorance here, but other than his toe amputation, what signs?

He kept coaching after that so it’s reasonable to have wondered if this was going to be like Urban Meyer’s conveniently-timed heart palpitations.

Also, praying good health for Prime.

make the statement that he is “not a good football coach”.

I totally agree you cannot say he is a "bad coach" but there are way to many who want to say he is a great coach and should be in the mix for major college and NFL jobs.

Leave it to Prime to have a full-blown press conference for this though

I think telling people to get checked is worth a full blown press conference. Don’t you?

umm, a coach having cancer is kinda always a press conference deal. Especially when he missed months of coaching and rumors were abound

How often does a coach get cancer and there isn’t a press conference?

There was no way he was leaving when he rolled up to the medical press conference in overalls and cowboy hat.
