Yep.
A combo of Jake/Chas/someone LH like Heyward in center would likely be above the current MLB average in total offense/defense.
What we must have is corner outfielders who can hit. Right now, it's looking murky, to be kind.

Not really sure what the path is to fix the corners at this point either. Hope someone like Profar’s market bottoms out I guess. Otherwise it looks like it will be a pain point until maybe the deadline. They badly need Chas to at least get back to being close to an everyday player

We're on a Ben Gamel budget. I kind of hope we do bring him back given the other guys were stuck with. Not the worst option. .250 type hitter, acceptable on base and willing to take a walk.

When and if Yed plays LF, it strengthens OF production, but you need a bench bat for that to pay off. Something we don't have.
Trying to get creative with that, DH could be Walker in those situations if we were to sign Yuli for peanuts. Another something that should have been done previously. His power has been off since the hamate issue, but we know his defense and contact rate are still there, and for league minimum you just can't beat it.

Absolutely, even if it’s a minor league deal. If we successfully trade Pressly I think we do something bigger than that potentially
