This is a tough watch so far. Spencer constantly very behind in counts

Was coming here to say the same, very frustrating.

Bullpen gonna have to absorb a bunch of innings it looks like after another ineffective start.

2 back in the division, 1.5 back of the last wildcard. What will the front office do at the trade deadline?
Altuve was in another area code from home plate. I guess he’s channeling his inner Charlie Hustle in an attempt to slump bust.

Brutal loss.

Better yet, fire his fricking arse into the sun.
Burrows is an abomination. Leave him in DC.
He should never throw another pitch for Houston. Ever.

My boy Chas could do the equivalent or possibly better.
We won?!?!?!? Speaking of the consecutive 4th of July steak, me and the family attended the one in 2022 that Yordon also walked off. It was an awesome experience.

Happy 4th to the DAT collective. 250 years flies by fast.

Runner in scoring position three innings straight. 0-7 with BB, 6K and a GIDP. Gotta love that.

“I’m not even gonna try to defend that. These motherfrickers are absolute dogshit. Am I to blame? Absolutely. But, it’s Jim’s money and I’m just here for the kicks.”
There is no effort. None.

frick Imai and Espada for bailing him out.
This fricking guy.

Bullpen warming

RALLY KILLERS!! ASSEMBLE!

Double play to end one before it really even started.

Imai is missing very big when missing—where is Yuli when we need him.

I did not think he had that in him. I had a whole post in my head

It’s a huge ask and departure from his whole career, but if he doesn’t start taking walks, he will have almost zero value moving forward. He’s kind of given up hustling down the line on batted balls on the infield and has also lost a step. I’m sure that Ichiro and Altuve have the most infield hits since 2000. If he’s not getting those, his value on the field is neutralized. Of course, he’ll probably hit a six run walk off dinger in game 7 of the World Series to make up for it all, but it’s not been fun watching him flail recently.
I’m done for the night. Guess y’all were correct for not starting a new (a)DAT.
Well, what a fricking how do you do double play.

Altuve gonna get it all back with one swing.
Nice play, Joey.

On the offense now to pick up Lambert.

ETA: Altuve wouldn’t take a walk at this point for anything. He’s gone into a different level of swing it seems like.
