We won?!?!?!? Speaking of the consecutive 4th of July steak, me and the family attended the one in 2022 that Yordon also walked off. It was an awesome experience.

It’s a huge ask and departure from his whole career, but if he doesn’t start taking walks, he will have almost zero value moving forward. He’s kind of given up hustling down the line on batted balls on the infield and has also lost a step. I’m sure that Ichiro and Altuve have the most infield hits since 2000. If he’s not getting those, his value on the field is neutralized. Of course, he’ll probably hit a six run walk off dinger in game 7 of the World Series to make up for it all, but it’s not been fun watching him flail recently.
