I’ll tell my grandkids I got to see that man pitch live. Old school mentality with new school stuff.

@Feinsand

The Astros and C Jason Castro are in serious talks and could be headed for a deal soon, per source.

No. God. Please. No.

The more disappointing fact is that Castro would be an upgrade over last year’s backup and means Stubbs is a non-factor moving fwd

You should have found a shark on the beach to feed to him to.

Can't wait for him to bitch about a strike three call right down the pipe.

As like a platoon/backup catcher he is fine and will cost nothing. My problem with it is there are like 15 guys out there similar to him who aren’t Jason Castro

Yeah, I’ll try to dwell on the positives.

He will be very cheap. He will catch only one game a week b/c he’s had like 4 knee surgeries. When he does make contact safely, it’s more likely to be for extra bases.

I will resist the urge to look up how many 4 K games he has had in his career

We can continue hating him but still enjoy it when he does something good?

For the third time I see the DAT bumped, get excited and go to the last page only to read something about Jason F’ing Castro.

I guess y'all were good baws this year. Here's a late Christmas gift.

While the Astros are interested in Jason Castro, there are other teams in the mix now. So a return to Houston is less than a certainty

Gonna have to pay more attention to the Braves next year, loving the Charlie Morton pick up.

Stros would have won 2019 for sure with him and who knows what would have happened this year

Springer is apparently down to the Mets and Blue Jays and is said to be seeking $150 million.

Both offered 5 year contracts in excess of 100m.... So I assume 5 years 110-125 is where they are at now and he wants 150m and 6 years
