Well that seems...bizarre. Certainly seems like there's a riff between the Ryans and the Cranes. From Reids demotion, to Nolan leaving now to divesting affiliation from Ryan-Sanders baseball.

Ehh. Nolan Ryan is the Archie Manning of baseball. Likes to be portrayed as always doing the right thing, selfless, etc. but can be calculating and takes care of self-interest first when needing to do so. Ryan has ping-ponged between the Rangers and Astros for 30+ years. Is Crane a saint? Of course not. But neither is Ryan.

As a skeeters fan I'm worried cranes involvement will ruin the game day experience at constellation field. This past summer they had the leeway to create their own 4 team league and hold games with fans while all of minor league ball shut down. Probably raise ticket prices too.
I'm telling yall for a family of 4 or 5 there is no greater value in town that going to skeeters games. Jope crane doesn't frick it up.
