It sounds like McMahon wants to sign 4 HS players this cycle and he and the staff are going for top 100 talent while they’re at it. Whether they’re able to land that talent is a big question. I think the portal will be a big tool for LSU again as we look towards the ‘24 roster....

I read that LSU is one of the main contenders for 4* SG Mikey Lewis out of California. He’s slated to visit in September....

According to the postgame report, there were at least several illegal screen calls by the FIBA referees. Who knows how legitimate those were yesterday. Just something to keep in mind. Still way too many turnovers though....

Givens said he planned to officially visit at the end of July. I assume that happened. He wants to commit before the early signing period. Givens, Miller, Codie, and Passmore are all top 50 players on On3’s latest rankings....
