are we really not on tv tonight
I will be enjoying the game on La Ranchera 101.7FM tonight. It's an exhibition game, so what the hell, I'm going to see just how good my spanish really is.

Alex Bregman, Marwin Gonzalez and Brian McCann are saddened he will not be an automatic out at home plate in the May 1-4 series at Minute Maid.

Who wants to go on record with win predictions? I'm back and forth. On paper this team is better than last year.
Last year we won 101 games while losing Colin McHugh, Lance McCullers, Dallas Keuchel, Charlie Morton, Carlos Correa and George Springer to the DL for considerable periods.
On the other hand, we had a lot of guys who had career years. Morton, Peacock, Reddick, Marwin, Springer. Heck, .346 may be a career best average for Altuve. It would seem we're due for some offensive regression.
I'm thinking between 95 and 98 wins (call it 97?). But..if the rotation stays healthy and offense doesn't drop off too much this team can be very very good.

I could see us starting relatively slow with how deep last year went and all the offseason festivities. I’ll say 96-66

98 wins, win the division by 10+ games, best record in the AL

So McCann got his avg up to triple digits? I somehow missed this, but his last AB brought him back to Earth, now .097

If I were Preston, I would get a good lawyer.
Why wouldn't they spring for the 2 for 1 special that John Henry was running on his dad's cryogenically preserved genetics?
