I’d be upset to see Jabroni go, but if Peacock leaves we riot. That’s our relief ace.
That’s not saying much tbh

Oh he brought it with him. Brandon Morrow just fell right into Springer's trap. Springer went to the plate ready to swing out of his shoes on a fastball trying to make up for that mistake. If he had thrown a slider first pitch, I think we would have ended up with a Gomez-esque fall down swing.
My favorite part of that homer though will always be Biggio jumping up and fist pumping immediately. I think it's awesome that the guy played 20 years for this franchise and that moment was still so exciting for him.

McHugh is a quality pitcher I’d be disappointed if he was traded for scraps or long shots. This team is built to win now, McHugh might not have a huge role now but that could change in a short amount of time.

Not Happening. You need at least 8 or 9 starting Pitchers to get through a season.

Was perusing some of our divisional opponents spring training stats today and I figured Id give an update on our ole pal stinky. Rougned batting average is a cool .193 but he makes up for that with getting on base at a .258 clip. When I saw that I figured Id check in on the team as a whole. The rangers from what ive seen are employing a 6 man rotation. Dual Aces Martin Perez and Cole Hamels are at the TOR with 4.1+ ERAs. The fistings seem to have ceased as our boy doug has a 6+ ERA. The felon and Matt Moore both are averaging over 7 earned runs.
Yes I know its only spring training but the demise of the rangers is always enjoyable.

Spring stats don't mean shite.

For the most part Id agree. However say if Bregman was coming off a year where he slashed .204/.252/.397 after getting a big contract and the following spring he slashed .193/.258/.351 Id be worried.

McHugh pitched real well at the end of the season last year. There was a 2-1 win he had over the Angels on Aug 25 (the day Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas Coast), and some good wins in September.
If Keuchel or McCullers get injured, McHugh could be the Mike Fiers of 2018.
Map of AT&T Sportsnet SW for no reason other than I like coverage maps:

We obviously need to put together an invasion force to finish conquering New Mexico.

This. We've got Las Cruces, Roswell, Hobbs, and Clovis locked up, so now we need to focus on Tucumcari and the hot co-eds at Eastern New Mexico State University.

I spy something new. It would seem to be the AL champions pennant and World Champs pennet. Which begs the question, where did the division banners get moved? And if the AL pennant is on the light tower, shouldn't the NL pennant be there too?
And this is of course a perfect time to point out that the space the community leaders monstrosities are occupying would be the ideal spot for division banners.

Rays released lefty reliever Dan Jennings. Wake up, Ludlow.

Once again Ludlow fiddles with the quad cities number 3 starter while the major league bullpen burns

The desert protects us from the west and the river to the east. Oklahoma And Dallas are an expendable front line that no one will he sad if an invading armies flatten them
The only move is to Sure up the east and invade Indian territory in south east

That map pisses me off because my provider here in kingwood does not offer that channel.

I'm not sure where they've gone with the other banners. Unless we've become the type of team that doesn't acknowledge trivial accomplishments like a division title and only hangs World Champs banners now.
