Scholarship… he’s got several offers including Miami, Washington, and Mississippi State
I expect him to rather soon

Also believe his coach at Butte is the father of former baseball commit Robby Snelling… never made it to campus got drafted but it is a connection
Connor Gilbreath tight end out of Butte College

6’6 255 with 3 years of eligibility
He is upset warriors had 3 called against them last night, claiming the lakers were flopping. Pretty ironic considering their only offensive strategy is moving screens.

Keon Coleman enters portal

We could definitely use another receiver… not much proven behind Nabors, Thomas, and Lacy. Hilton, Anderson, Parker, Sampson, and Brown could all be great but no experience at college level.
Him and Ja Morant gonna be a hell of a duo in the prison league
Pearson needs to take the LF job. I know he’s struggled so far, but don’t forget what he’s capable of.

He’s a better option than Jobert and Morgan is too good at 1st to be out in left. That gives you Beloso as a great bat off the bench. Jobert can get so hot but in between that it’s not good.

He’s also at least average in the field, Jobert is the worst outfielder I’ve ever seen.

Despite his 200 batting average in only 15 abs, Pearson has a 409 obp. Also he’s shown signs of life lately like the opposite field double last night.

Again, I’m not saying he should just be given the job. But he needs to step up and take it to reach our full potential.

I wouldn’t have put him up there.

Dude is soft af.
Montgomery is going on 3 visits this week but no lsu yet unfortunately. Ole Miss, West Virginia, and I’m drawing a blank but I believe the third is either A&M or Auburn
No I guess I kind of laid that out bad. Meant to show what they want as far as a LB depth chart. Was meaning to show where they would bring in a portal guy behind Speights
I agree here as well, especially with the mash burn news.

Transfer Portal Players to Watch

Here are some guys that the staff has been in contact with

LB
Ashanti Cistrunk - Ole Miss
Monty Montgomery - Louisville
Nick Jackson - Virginia

Staff wants to add 1 more LB to free up Perkins to roam around more, while also staying two deep at LB without having to count on true Freshman

LB LB
Greg Penn Omar Speights
West Weeks (Portal)

Also feel like Whit Weeks can log some snaps

OL
Mason Williams- G - Harvard
Dallas Holliday- G - Boise State
Kingsley Ugwu - T - Kansas State
Drake Metcalf - G - Stanford
Ethan White - T - Florida
Brey Walker- T - Oklahoma
Jakai Clark - C Miami

Definitely want to add 2-3 depth guys here. Starting group is solid but depth is very sketchy after losing Bradford, Thomas, and Hill. The freshman are great but staff doesn’t want to count on a true freshman being ready to step up and start in case of injury. Not saying they won’t, just need some options.

I also think a safety would be necessary, but we will see.

New potential LB target in Portal

Monty Montgomery - Louisville LB

5’11 220

Senior

Had 70 tackles, 6 sacks, 4 ff, and two ints last year

Originally from Georgia

My grandpa took me to my first MLB game, had only been to Zephyrs games before, just so happened to be Altuves debut
I’d try somebody besides Diaz at DH. He’s been so bad at plate lately
For LSU true freshman Will Campbell and Emery Jones have taken over the two tackle positions and are improving quickly with very high potential.

Tue Freshman Mason Taylor has won TE position and has shown flashes there.

True freshman LB Harold Perkins is quickly stealing a starting LB spot and looks like an absolute stud

Olave is soft af

Brandin Cooks all over again
Emery will be RB1 when he can play.

Cain is a good player, but Emery can be a game changer
For comparison here are the linebackers drafted in the 5th-6th rounds last year (besides Damone Clark)

Micah McFadden 77 tackles, 6 sacks, 0 interceptions
D’Marco Jackson 119-6-1
Kyron Johnson 61-5.5-0

Ok I got tired of looking all that up but you should see my point. He would’ve been drafted.

He had 83 tackles/40 solo/2 sacks/1 interception last season

It seems to me we have a really solid group there.

There’s only going to be two guys on the field at most times.

Mike Jones looked really good towards the end of last season, and Greg Penn has been named as a standout and looked really good in spring.

Micah Baskerville as a back up is a guy we were worried about losing to the NFL last year.

West Weeks is also a guy who played really well as a freshman last year, a lot of people are very high on him.

Then you have Harold Perkins.

Not to mention Jared Small, who has proven he can play in the SEC, as well as big time recruit DeMario Tolan.
No matter what happens he will forever be known as Cody Dickerson

Every time I go to a rodeo

Posted by blake the kid on 8/10/22 at 3:30 pm
I remember why it’s the greatest sport there is.

Every rodeo you go to starts with a prayer, the national anthem, and full of people showing appreciation for our great country.

There’s no drama, no bs just a lot of people who’ve worked their arse off and are grateful to be there. The rodeo clown makes all kind of jokes but somehow nobody gets offended.

It’s a great sport with some tough sob’s and some amazing animals. Everybody is for each other, even down to the bull fighters who put themselves at risk for very little pay to help these guys.

Rodeo is the greatest American sport!
I get left vs right

But are we actually going to go with jj over Myers?
I’d give it a try going

Hilliard for 3
Fontenot/Vietmeir/Hasty for 3
And try to get 3 from Gervase
