Rivers is pretty close to Leonard since they’re both from Alabama. He’s worked out with him in the summer in the past. Think this would be more of a “mentorship” opportunity for a young guy he looks at fondly, as well as an insurance possibility if Leonard gets injured or things completely self-destruct.

That deadline passed a month ago. Options are pretty limited for the Colts if they still are trying to be a contender this season.
