With 5in5 and no longer needing to save for a redshirt year, this makes no sense (he was past 4 games anyway).
I can't see a situation where this is looked upon favorably by anyone with a brain.

Aren't some of these NIL deals paid and funded week to week? If your team flames out does that NIL well dry up as well?

That’s a pretty long effort to absolve the QB from doing something that was completely stupid for a college player to do.

why didnt the QB run to the back corner and just bend over holding the ball with both arms and stand there killing time until they pushed him OOB? Like soccer players do in the corners?
