And i would agree with you but if its touch and go they dont play it all. I do think its an outside shot they do play but not a very good shot.

What are other viable scenarios? Play the game on wildcard weekend and move all the playoffs back a week?

Anybody that crucifies you for that statement is ridiculous. If they stabilize him and the prognosis is good, no reason they can’t play and both teams probably will want to play for playoff purposes. The initial reaction to it is also justified and no sane person can play after seeing that incident and not knowing if their buddy will pull through.

Prayers for this man and his family. Football is my passion, but it’s secondary right now. Pull through young man!

no fricking shot... this game is going to be cancelled... they will not make it up, it will just be a no contest and that's what it is... under the circumstances, that's totally fine with me...

the NFL has NO room for playing this game with the level of severity of the injury, considering the lawsuits and intense pressure they get with the CTE stuff... you think they want to be perceived in a bad light with this too? no way... they will cancel this game, b/c the optics of making it up are just way too bad

aortic aneurysm was what i initially thought too, b/c he stood up then fell... orthostatic hypertension, secondary to the aneurysm...

Autocorrect got you. It’s supposed to be orthostatic hypotension not hypertension.

So that doesn’t really work
neither does making this game work logistically. Even if played tomorrow, you are only giving these teams 4 days off until their next game

This is a PR nightmare and terrible decision as well

So, as a result of Damar either being seriously injured or possible dying, you effectively make the decision to take homefield advantage and the bye from his team and community of Buffalo

The nfl legit has a tough non easy situation on their hands.

I recently took a class on the modern version of CPR

If you ever have the chance to learn from a paramedic - ask questions

Everyone should be prepared to help in these situations

She was bad but this is like saying "person X is bad at their job when they are doing something other than their job"

Reading off a prompter and creating discussion is her job. She's not experienced in anything else

under the circumstances, if this kid lives, you really think Buffalo, the team and the fans, give a frick about the bye and homefield advantage?

this kid's, yeah, he's only 24, that's a kid to me, life is in the balance and you think they are worried about the fricking playoffs?? bro...

I think a larger question is - if Damar were to unfortunately die, then does Buffalo cancel the season altogether?

Just saw a bleacher report per Hamlin’s rep that his vitals are back to normal.
