Update on Damar: His vitals are back to normal and they have put him to sleep to put a breathing tube down his throat. They are currently running tests. We will provide updates as we have them.

Frankly for all the hate the NFL is getting for the 5 minute thing I don't think they had time to put much thought into it. They were in unfamiliar territory just like everyone else, who knows who even made that decision easily could've just been an official at the game. Wasn't necessarily a higher up.

The good part is they very quickly, perhaps with input from coaches, realized it was a terrible idea

Great news, thanks.

Praying for this young man's full recovery.

I don’t know if the SVP/ Clark dialogue is the way to cover this. Just seems to be stoking the flames of emotion over and over. I feel like you just cover the actual facts and news right now.

There are no facts being reported for them to cover. They are being asked to fill air time without a script or a plan. They are winging it and doing a decent job.

Pretty crazy how great the medical care is at major professional sporting events. If this happens in a high school or even a college game this guy has no chance.

Not sure where you went to school, but there was always an ambulance in the parking lot and our team doc on the sideline at my high school. Broke my nose during a basketball game and he was on the sideline giving me concussion protocol as soon as I came off.

I can what some of you are talking about in regards to what the “former “ player is saying.
He is trying to say the players are not there for themselves and instead are working for “the man” type stuff. Maybe it is true but I would be happy making millions working for anyone really.

Yes. It’s Damar’s friend and marketing rep.

Followed by lots of industry types, and many people like Rich Eisen have commented or retweeted.
