I’m sure his foundation will still get the proceeds, but this GFM is from 12/2020

if this kid lives, you really think Buffalo, the team and the fans, give a frick about the bye and homefield advantage?
Yes, I do

It sounds crude and horrible, but life and football will go on

On the OT they said his agent gave an update. Did I miss that in this thread?

Update on Damar: His vitals are back to normal and they have put him to sleep to put a breathing tube down his throat. They are currently running tests. We will provide updates as we have them

I think a larger question is - if Damar were to unfortunately die, then does Buffalo cancel the season altogether?

NFL may end up cancelling the rest of the season.

The NFL is a no win situation.

They will be crucified no matter what they do with this game.

Sounds like he’s going to live. It’s just a question of brain damage at this point.

It was shared a few pages back. That’s about as good of an update as you can hope for at this stage given what transpired.

Don't see this happening at all.

nah... it won't cause that... it does present a problem with the bye and stuff, but i think in the end Buffalo would gladly travel/play/not have a bye/etc, if their teammate lives

Exactly. Acting like they have some easy no brainer decision here just isn’t true

Chiefs should do what’s right and essentially forfeit and give the bills the 1 seed.

Won’t ever happen though.

No clue what the NFL does. You can’t move the Super Bowl.

no fricking shot... this game is going to be cancelled... they will not make it up, it will just be a no contest and that's what it is... under the circumstances, that's totally fine with me... the NFL has NO room for playing this game with the level of severity of the injury, considering the lawsuits and intense pressure they get with the CTE stuff... you think they want to be perceived in a bad light with this too? no way... they will cancel this game, b/c the optics of making it up are just way too bad

I get that no one wants to say it right now, but this game is massively important to the rest of the AFC as well as player contract incentives.
