Possibly a second ambulance giving her a ride in. There is no way they aren’t getting him to the hospital asap, no matter what they think right now. That would be the ultimate malpractice.

Yea, granted it’s all speculation at this point, but my buddy who’s an ER doc said he’s gone. Said given his age and health, anything that caused him to collapse like that and require CPR that he’s not making it through. Said he hopes he’s wrong but really doubts it.
As a physician, I can say this is completely untrue. Young people have a ton of physiologic reserve and can be coded for a long arse time and still recover.
I coded a post-partum woman for over an hour as a resident and she walked out of the hospital 2 weeks later. We coded a mid-20s guy with severe covid pneumonia for almost 90 minutes last year and he’s still alive today.
The cause of the arrest matters of course, but assuming he had a vfib arrest (they shocked him at least once with an AED, you can seen them priming it in one of the field shots) from an underlying heart issue we get those people back all the time.

If they leave it up to Buffalo, they’ll play. That’s just how players are. You saw Diggs.
Yeah, but that's just one player. And of course the players would play if they had to, but their heart is not in it. Many of them look absolutely devastated. I've never seen so many players look quite like this before.

The 17 game schedule do you really need it?
Other than seeding this game is all but meaningless
If you cancel maybe you flip a coin if it impacts seeding

They haven't told anyone to leave yet, so maybe they're going to try and get it in.

Yeah.
This is a terrible situation for all those involved.
Just hope for the best and pray for the player, his family and comrades.

I'm not watching the game but you would swear by Twitter he died on the field. I saw the video and it didn't seem like a bad tackle he just collapsed after.
He very well may have.

is it really necessary to keep on showing highlights of the Bills players being emotional? Jesus Christ
ETA: not throwing shade at the Bills players by any means, just saying it isn't necessary to show clips of people being emotional at what is possibly one of the lowest moments of their lives

I mean, he may have died. We don’t know yet.

Showing re-runs of the 2015 ping pong world championships would be better than listening to Suzy right now. She could not sound any more disingenuous. If is she is she doesn’t sound like it. Just horrible.
I blame the producers more than the talent. There’s nothing they can say good. It’s all cringe. This is when you switch to reruns of something else and have an update ticker at the bottom

A bye and home field throughout is a big deal

May see some players retire after this injury.
Really? How many basketball players retired after Hank Gaithers and Reggie Lewis? How many boxers retired after Do Koo Kim? Hell, how many professional wrestlers retired after Owen Hart? How many NASCAR drivers retired after Dale Earnhardt?

A guy possibly died on the field and you're worried about your fantasy/bets. Get a life.

Everyone on twitter is trying out do each other with “nothing else matters” which is correct. It seems like everyone is trying to go over the top with it.

Oh Goodell will make the decision. I’m sure it will be well reasoned.
