Like this is a historic moment in the NFL.

Please pull through

Well when you are giving someone cpr it means their heart isn’t beating and they aren’t breathing.

What do you call that?

Ambulance left for the hospital about 12 minutes ago. UC is apparently a top trauma hospital, so still holding out hope for some positive news.

Have to give some credit to the medical staff on the field. The sports world is watching and they can’t flinch. No shoulder shrug or any indication of what’s going on. Administer what care they can. A lot of pressure. Praying for the young man.

There's no way he was stable enough to wait on family.

This is not good

If they haven’t called the game yet, it seems like they’re going to play if he’s alive. They’ve had plenty of time to call it by now.

Look, this is obviously me hoping, but I think that's a good sign it isn’t already cancelled and he is likely ok and they are just waiting on that official word from the hospital as well to continue on

The EMS on the field were administering CPR. He most likely did not have a pulse, which if not immediately intervened on would cause death. It's very scary

This could be the NFL’s Owen Hart moment.

What will become of the game if the worst case scenario plays out?

This is the first time I've turned on an NFL Game in years. I hope this young man is ok.

Something similar happened to Christian Eriksen, a soccer player in Europe, last year. Thank god he was able to survive.

Not only survive, but playing professionally again 6 months later at an elite level. Gives me hope in this situation for a full recovery (whether he chooses to play football again or not)
