Something similar happened to Christian Eriksen, a soccer player in Europe, last year. Thank god he was able to survive.

I have a really hard time thinking any Bills players are going to agree to resume play tonight, even if the NFL tells them they have to.

I don't think that has anything to do with the situation but I couldn't swear on a Bible and guarantee it doesn't have something to do with it. Stating it as a definitive fact is one thing but considering it as a possibility is another.

There should be concern about the side effects of clotting, SCD but, this is too premature just to jump to the conclusion that he died from a vaccine. Just let it play out.

The trauma from the collision could hypothetically cause a deadly arrhythmia regardless of vaccination status. Commotio cordis is rare but, happens in these situations. I would just hope that we get information that he is okay regardless of what caused this

Ambulance was still in the stadium a few minutes ago so they could pull his mom from the stands to ride with him, which means that he’s stable enough they didn’t have to speed to the hospital. Which is great news.

Or he might already be gone...

She’s right. Her entire career has only been to hype the NFL and only in a way that allows for others to generate discussion.

She’s way out of her element.

He did die on the field. He was resuscitated.

I think it’s pretty obvious what they are doing. They are waiting from the word from the hospital. If it comes back “critical but stable”, they will play

Any other news and they will cancel it

Let's say game is done

It won't be rescheduled
Would it just be stricken from the record - they each only play 16 games?
Would it be a tie? Could the teams agree to that? Or is there some technicality that prevents that and gives Cincy the win?

VF/VT are shockable rhythms

Yea, I’m concerned for all these patients floating around out here that these so called “medical professionals “ have treated.

People are shocked all the time in cardiac arrest, they just have to have an appropriate electrical rhythm. But they certainly don’t have a pulse or they wouldn’t be in cardiac arrest.

Of course you can’t shock asystole or PEA, but you definitely don’t have to have a pulse to shock

The backlash from that to the NFL would be astronomical

CPR is generally not done if someone is breathing.

I watched paramedics give CPR to my son for what seemed like an hour. When they took him away in the ambulance to the ER the wife and me already knew the outcome.

I have that same feeling watching this.

I hope the game continues. If they send everybody home, that's the worst news.

Took her all of 5 seconds to use this moment as a soapbox.

There are thousands of hits like that every year. He had some condition for that to be the result.
