I would like to think we don't have to promise anyone a starting spot. That being said, I would be concerned if the qb who came in, having played in the system with these same coaches was not the clear leader in the spring.

Yes but not many big name teams are looking for a dual threat guy like that. I doubt he would work @ Texas, Bama, UGA etc.

One of the first tangible wins I could see for Golesh is getting a good staff and getting this guy.

The staff looks good and I am hopeful.

I can already feel the bruises.

Extremely likely that Alabama, as well as Miami had the same agreement made last year. That would explain a lot about the poll movements at the end of this season.

Even if they did, they would not be dumb enough to announce it.
There is no way that MOU was meant to go public, right?

How can any of the other conferences put up with that now that everyone knows about it.

Every year someone gets dropped because of ND, the conference that was screwed is going to be out for someone's head.
I would love Brown, but I am not counting on him until he takes his first snap. A lot of teams will be looking for portal qb. I would think we have an edge, but I also thought if a guy got AU tattooed on his body we would have an edge as well.

Rushing is a really good coach to pick up.
Honeslty, I am now on the fence.

I don't mind them keeping him, tbh. I hope he milks a massive pay raise out of them from the Michigan rumors.

Let's be honest, he ends with 4 losses this year and I am not saying he is a bad coach, but their running game is awful.

And there is no fan base more entitled than Alabama, they will start calling for his job after their first loss next season.

But evil dick
He had to get buck wild
Took me out one night
Out with the freaks
If ever there was pussy, evil dick would seek
My girl caught me skeezin' she said
I wasn't shite!
I said, "It wasn't me, baby
It was the motherfricker
Evil dick!"

he just made the SECCG AND playoffs(whether right or not) WITF would he leave for michigan?

Maybe it is not about leaving.

Maybe it is about a pay raise.
I hate it for the young man.

Honestly, I never really blamed him for his qb performance. I blame the coaching for not making him better and not making a change to help him succeed if needed.
