he is a better version of OU's QB.

when he's moving in the pocket, he can get guys open, and make plays. When he sits in pocket, he's not that great qb.

and he has a ton of talent at WR, so no excuses

Take away his family connections and he is lucky to get an American Athletic or Sunbelt football scholarship.

I don't think that's true. I watched him in high school. He was big and fast and had the arm to make all the throws so definitely would have been on the radar of SEC and Big Ten schools.

He was big and fast because he played at Newman.

He also played ball in a lower classification.

A more overhyped QB got benched today and has been much worse than Arch

Are you referring to Raiola? Because he definitely wasn't as hyped as Arch.

My dad graduated from Newman in 1977. Sark should have asked him and he would have told him this

He's not horrible. He's the definition of above average. If he had a different name he'd be a day 3 pick and we'd be wondering why Texas doesn't have a hotshot qb recruit to push him yet.

You mean all those stats he accumulated against garbage 2A competition didn’t translate? I’m shocked…

Peyton and Eli played against the same competition and turned out fine.

Arch just isn’t that good and he never did any of the camps so his weaknesses were concealed from scouts. He is not a precision level accurate passer. He doesn’t process the field quickly enough. Hes not an ndl qb.

Man I said the same thing while he was at Newman

He just doesnt have it. Hes clearly been well coached his whole life but im just not sure he has the athletic ability or the nuts to be a great QB

if his last name was Smith he would have been at three different schools by now

Anyone that watched him in HS knows that he feasted on lesser competition. When Newman played teams with equal or better talent, Arch never elevated his team to wins. If his name wasn’t Manning, he’d be a La Tech

But will he still be in so many ads?
Yesterday I was already tired of him and the game hadn't started.

Is he? Leavitt is a better QB and Leavitt has many faults

By all accounts he’s a good kid and good teammate

He’s a decent QB and could have a Chase Daniel type NFL career

Not his fault he was overhyped due to his last name. There was no chance he was living up to that

Curious what happens with Marshall cause that hype train is rolling
